Health & safety guidelines
Health and Safety
At QTC, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace for all our employees, subcontractors, clients, and visitors. We recognize that a construction industry poses many risks and hazards, and we are committed to mitigating these risks to ensure that everyone who works with us goes home safely every day.
Our work, health and safety policy is based on the guidelines set forth by the United Kingdom's Health and Safety Executive (HSE). We will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to work, health, and safety.
We will provide appropriate training and supervision to all employees and subcontractors to ensure that they understand the risks and hazards associated with their work and how to perform their work safely. We will also provide appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure that it is used and maintained correctly.
We will conduct regular risk assessments of our workplace and work activities to identify potential hazards and risks. We will then take appropriate measures to control these risks, such as implementing engineering controls, administrative controls, or providing additional PPE.
We will communicate our work, health and safety policy to all employees, subcontractors, clients, and visitors. We will ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities for maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
We will investigate all work-related incidents and accidents to determine the root cause and take appropriate corrective actions to prevent recurrence. We will also report all reportable incidents to the relevant regulatory authorities.
We are committed to continuously improving our work, health and safety performance through regular review and evaluation of our policies and procedures. We will also consult with employees and subcontractors to identify opportunities for improvement.
We expect all employees and subcontractors to comply with our work, health and safety policy and take an active role in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace. We encourage everyone to report any hazards or concerns to their supervisor or the appropriate person, and we will take appropriate action to address these concerns.
